Sarah Borough and Ryan Holmgren, both of Elk River, Minn., were married Oct. 20 on Sombrero Beach in Marathon, Fla.
Her parents are Joan and Steven Borough of Duluth. His parents are Jean and Gary Carling of Anoka, Minn., and Brenda and Roger Holmgren of Elk River.
The bride chose Kari Holmgren and Kelly Holmgren as bridesmaids.
The groom chose Craig Borough and Mike Borough as groomsmen.
The bride, a 1996 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley in Menasha in 2000 with an associate degree in arts and science. She is a customer service representative for IKON Office Solutions in Anoka.

The groom, a 1993 graduate of St. Francis (Minn.) High School, graduated from Bemidji (Minn.) State University in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in social studies. He is a social studies teacher at Jackson Middle School and a baseball coach for Champlin Park High School, both in Champlin, Minn.
