CERTIFICATIONS AND ACCREDITATIONS
* Kim Pearson and Charlie Glazman, both WITC-Superior Continuing Education staff members, earned Certified Program Planner certification, which enables them to develop opportunities for lifelong learners that are relevant, outcome-focused and geared toward maximizing the educational environment. Pearson is the dean of continuing education and Glazman is the training coordinator.
BOARD ELECTIONS
* During the 86th annual Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association convention on June 16, the membership elected Tom Stolee to serve a three-year term on its board of directors. Stolee is a traffic investigator and crash reconstructionist assigned to the Duluth Police Department Traffic Unit. He has 17 years of law enforcement experience and has been with the police department for eight years. He was named one of two Honorable Mentions for the MPPOA Peace Officer of the Year Award in 2006.
