HIRES AND PROMOTIONS

* Mary Shaw was named administrator and chief operating officer of St. Mary's Hospital of Superior and the Duluth Clinic-Superior, two previously separate positions. SMDC Health System named Shaw the administrator of the DC-Superior in November 1999. Before that, she held management positions at Mayo Health System in Austin, Minn. He holds a master's degree in health administration from the University of Minnesota and achieved Fellow status in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

* Coldwell Banker East West Realty in Superior announced May's top listing agent was Bill Eckman and top selling agent was Maria Letsos.
