The fourth annual Kraus-Anderson Bike Duluth Festival starts Friday and continues through Sunday at Spirit Mountain.
The event is centered on the Grand Avenue Chalet. After a women’s mountain biking skills clinic Friday, racing will take place on Saturday and Sunday.
If the weather cooperates, on Saturday there will be a long enduro race at 10 a.m., youth downhill race at 11 a.m., short enduro race at noon and downhill race at 5 p.m. There will be an expo village and demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and bike games and a kids' bike parade from 3-7 p.m. There also will be live music, a silent auction and a raffle.
The Great Hawk Chase XC Race starts at 9 a.m. Sunday and runs through the day.
