Besides 'Mad Magic' shows, look for rock, folk, blues and comedy at 'Omniumgatherum'

"Omniumgatherum" features three days of performances at Beaner's Central, 324 N. Central Ave. It's a fundraiser for Mentor Duluth, a collective that matches children with adult sponsors.

Tickets for Friday and Saturday night are $5 in advance at Beaner's or the YMCA or $7 at the door. Sunday night's show is $5 at the door. Saturday afternoon events are free.

8 p.m: Local folk rock artist Mary Bue

9 p.m: Local rock and blues performer Hattie Peterson

10 p.m: "Dysfunctional Pop" group The Brushstrokes

Saturday

3 p.m: Josh Schneider, the "Mad Man of Magic" (children's show)

3:30 p.m: Musician Tousue Vang

4 p.m: Interactive theater and improvisational games with Cheryl Skafte

7 p.m: Live broadcast of "Renegade Radio Hour," a sketch comedy show aired on KUWS-FM 91.3.

8 p.m: Stand-up comedians Eric Allen and Jessi Campbell

9 p.m: Josh Schneider, the "Mad Man of Magic" (show for adults)
