Attendance at Bentleyville Festival of Lights dwindled through the week, going from 6,000 on Sunday to 1,875 on Thursday. But Bentleyville organizer Nathan Bentley blamed the drop on the cold and expected a jump for the weekend.
"We saw the same thing previous years," Bentley said.
In the first six days it's been open, Bentleyville has drawn about 43,000 visitors through its gates at Bayfront Festival Park. Bentley said he's had nothing but good experiences working with the City of Duluth, but still doesn't know if he'll bring the event back next year.
"I haven't really given it a lot of thought," he said. He said he'll likely make the decision on the last day of the festival.
