The Duluth Seaway Port Authority unanimously agreed Wednesday to sell about one acre of land to an adjacent property owner, BendTec Inc., a Duluth company that specializes in bending large-diameter steel pipe. It will pay $21,923 for former railroad right-of-way property that now belongs to the port authority.
Andy McDonough, the port authority's business development director, said the land will provide BendTec with additional storage space for its operations.
