A "water contact not recommended" advisory has been issued by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) on Sept. 3 for Twin Points Public Access Beach. Elevated E. coli bacteria levels identified from samples collected Sept. 2 indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination. The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled Sept. 3.

A "water contact not recommended" advisory has been issued by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) on Sept. 3 for French River Beach. Elevated E. coli bacteria levels identified from samples collected Sept. 2 indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination. The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled Sept. 3.

French River Beach is located north of Duluth on Old North Shore Road (Scenic Highway 61), at the mouth of French River.

The "water contact not recommended" advisory placed at Park Point Sky Harbor Parking Lot Beach on Aug. 29 has been removed. Fecal indicator bacteria levels and averages have returned to acceptable levels.

Park Point Sky Harbor Parking Lot Beach is located on the harbor-side of Park Point in Duluth, at the end of Minnesota Avenue.

The "water contact not recommended" advisory placed at Lakewalk Beach on Aug. 29 has been removed. Fecal indicator bacteria levels and averages have returned to acceptable levels.

Lakewalk Beach is located in Duluth, below Lake Place Park in Canal Park.

A "water contact not recommended" advisory issued on Aug. 29 remains in place at Park Point Southworth Marsh Beach. Elevated E. coli bacteria averages identified from samples collected Sept. 2 indicate the possible presence of fecal contamination. The beach is scheduled to be re-sampled Sept. 3.

Park Point Southworth Marsh Beach is located on the harbor-side of Park Point, near 40th Street.
