Hail as large as baseballs has been reported with a storm moving over Aitkin County.
A trained spotter reported baseball-size hail covering the ground at Big Sandy Lake, about seven miles north of McGregor, at 5:55 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Duluth.
At 6 p.m., a trained spotter eight miles north of McGregor reported 1.75-inch diameter hail that broke the windshield of a car.
