Duluth police say evidence against two suspected drug dealers includes bags of heroin recovered from the boxer shorts one of the men soiled when police executed a search warrant.

The two appeared Thursday in State District Court. Devon Tikee Williams, 22, address unknown, was arraigned on charges of possession of heroin and a second-degree controlled substance crime. Rolland Dwayne Maynard Jr., 24, of Duluth appeared on a charge of possession of heroin.

According to the criminal complaint against Williams, a confidential reliable informant told police that two men were selling heroin from a residence in the 2800 block of West Second Street. Duluth police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force found Williams and Maynard at the residence at 5:43 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers searched Williams he had defecated in his boxer shorts. He was asked to remove the shorts and an officer found a clear plastic baggie containing numerous individually bagged rocks of heroin in the shorts.

Williams is being held in the St. Louis County Jail on $25,000 bail. Maynard was released on his own recognizance after appearing on the drug charge.
