Law enforcement agencies were asking for the public’s help Tuesday in their search for a Pine County man and his two children after they failed to show up for a scheduled custody hearing Friday.

The Pine County Sheriff’s office is seeking assistance in locating Peter John Kunze, 44, and his children, Sean Emily Hanson, 16, and Joshua Kunze.

The sheriff’s office said Kunze’s two adult children, Ashley Kunze, 22, and Christian Kunze, 20, may be with them, as well as three dogs.

After failing to appear in court for the hearing the whereabouts of the father and children have been unknown.
