Authorities had no new information to report over the weekend in the search for Andrew Dikken, 28, of Granite Falls, formerly of Renville, Minn.
Authorities have described Dikken as a "person of interest," but Granite Falls Police Chief Russ Blue said in an interview Friday that Dikken "took someone's life and gravely injured another" and has to be considered a danger to the public.
After a week of searching that included combing through woodlands and tall grass along the Minnesota River, Dikken has not been found. His abandoned pickup truck was discovered Wednesday in a gravel pit off a rural road south of Sacred Heart.
