Authorities offer a reward for information on an arson fire that damaged an Eveleth garage Wednesday.
Eveleth police and firefighters responded to the fire at 802 Douglas Ave. at 5:28 a.m. They extinguished the fire, which caused minimal to moderate damage.
The fire is being treated as arson and is under investigation by the Eveleth Police Department, Eveleth Fire Department and State Fire Marshal's Office. Up to a $2,500 reward is being offered through the MN Arson Reward Project for information leading to the identification of the person(s) responsible.
