Two deliberately set fires damaged or destroyed three vehicles in Duluth Sunday evening and early today.
The fires were separated by four hours but occurred within one block.
"There was no way those things started themselves," said Duluth Fire Department Deputy Fire Marshal Ken Goossen.
The fires happened on the 1500 block of East Fifth Street and in the alley on the 1600 block of East Sixth Street. A police officer dealing with another matter in the area found the first fire around 8:30 p.m. One fire destroyed a pickup truck, while the other fire spread from one car to a second.
Police are investigating the fires.
