Artists plan to make hundreds of pottery bowls this week to be donated to the "Empty Bowl" fundraiser. The bowls will be sold for $15 at the Depot on April 7, with proceeds benefiting the Second Harvest/Northern Lakes food bank.
The "throwathon" begins at 9 a.m. Friday at Lake Superior College, and runs through the night, ending at 9 a.m. Saturday. For more information on taking park in the event, contact Tonya Borgeson, at (218) 310-8903.
