Roses aren't always red, at least that is the case this year when the 19th annual Rotary Rose Sale event begins on Thursday, Sept. 2.
This year, said Rotary Rose chair James Landwehr, Rotary roses, by the dozen, will be available in mixed colors or red bouquets. Area Rotarians will be selling the roses for $15 per dozen and as an added bonus, a money-saving coupon book will be given with your rose purchase. Roses may be picked up on Oct. 15 and 16 at twelve area locations: Downtown Duluth at Peterson Anderson Florists and the first floor of the Holiday Center (Friday only); the Cloquet Green House; Lakeside Jubilee Foods; Plaza Shopping Center Jubilee Foods; Engwall Florist & Greenhouse at the Mount Royal Shopping Center, Hermantown and Superior locations; and Super One Foods at the West Duluth, Miller Hill, Cloquet and Two Harbors locations.
