Les and Joyce Price

Les and Joyce Price of Hibbing celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party hosted by their children at the Hibbing Park Hotel on Aug. 19.

Les and the former Joyce Maki were married Aug. 26, 1958, in Zion Lutheran Chuch in Ironwood, Mich.

Their children are Dwight Price and Susan Stith of Baltimore; Nathan and Joanna Price of New Haven, Conn.; Arthur Price and Pam Downing of Vancouver, British Columbia; and Craig Price of Hibbing. They have four grandchildren.

Les retired from Cleveland Cliffs Inc. in Cleveland. Joyce retired from Mike Fay Insurance in Hibbing.

Dick and Gale Fredrickson

Dick and Gale Fredrickson of Silver Bay celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a small reception at Silver Bay Country Club.

Dick and the former Gale McGuire were married Sept. 2, 1956, in Cass Lake, Minn.

Their children are Tom and Mary Fredrickson, John and Shelley Fredrickson and Joe and Paula Fredrickson, all of Silver Bay; Monica and Jerry Pybas of Duluth; Anita and Brad Hove of St. Paul; and Mary and Ken Lundgren of Shafer, Minn. They have 12 grandchildren.

Dick is retired from Northshore Mining in Silver Bay. Gale is a homemaker.

Everett and Lois Greenwalt

Everett and Lois Greenwalt of Duluth celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family.

Everett and the former Lois Denis were married Sept. 7, 1941.

Their children are Denis Greenwalt and Pamela Barbour of Duluth.

Everett is retired from Reserve Mining Co. in Silver Bay. Lois is retired from Norshor Insurance Co. in Silver Bay.

George and Karen Radzak

George and Karen Radzak of Duluth celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party with family and friends Aug. 26 at Split Rock Lighthouse in Two Harbors.

George and the former Karen Backlund were married Sept. 8, 1956, in Duluth.

Their children are Stephen and Debra Radzak of Mankato, Minn., and Susan and Roger Volkmann and James Radzak, all of Wenatchee, Wash. They have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

George retired from the city of Duluth. Karen retired as a health care nurse.

Their family says, "Thank you for being such wonderful people. Here is to another 50 years!'

Thomas and Lori Hicks

Thomas and Lori Hicks of Esko will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to California.

Thomas and the former Lori Lane were married Sept. 12, 1981, in Grace Lutheran Church in Hermantown.

Their children are David Hicks of Mankato, Minn., and Steve Hicks of Ely.

Thomas works at LHB Engineering in Duluth. Lori works in the CT scan department at St. Luke's hospital.

Selmer and Anita Jacobson

Selmer and Anita Jacobson of Duluth celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house at Miller Creek Condos clubhouse.

Selmer and the former Anita Baunsgard were married Sept. 13, 1946, in Everett, Wash.

Their children are Judy and Bob Swanberg of Plantation, Fla.; Joyce Jacobson of Winona, Minn.; Dianne and Jim Pederson of Duluth; Carol and Jerry Carlson of Hermantown; Eileen and Jorge Hagenbrock of Cape Coral, Fla.; and Connie Jacobson of Bloomington, Minn. They have 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Selmer and Anita are both retired.

Joseph and Shirley Hudacek

Joseph and Shirley Hudacek of Superior celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in Lake Nebagamon.

Joseph and the former Shirley Perkins were married Sept. 14, 1946, in Cathedral of Christ the King in Superior.

Their children are Thomas and Irene Hudacek of Superior; James and Ellyn Hudacek of Bloomer, Wis.; Richard and Nancy Hudacek of Woodbury, Minn.; and Timothy and Ginger Hudacek of Hoyt Lakes. They have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Joseph retired from the state of Wisconsin. Shirley retired from the former Piggly Wiggly in Superior.

Don and Mary Moss

Don and Mary Moss of Duluth celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Sept. 16.

Don and the former Mary Beiring were married Sept. 15, 1956, in Duluth.

Their children are Mary Kylen of Saginaw; Sharon Roberts of Colorado; Lynn LeClair of Chandler, Ariz.; Bob Moss of Duluth; and Michelle Anderson of Chisago City, Minn. They have 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Don retired from the Air Force and Charter Communications. Mary retired from Advanstar Communications.

Don and Wendy Ruby

Don and Wendy Ruby of Duluth celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a family gathering.

Don and the former Wendy Nordin were married Sept. 19, 1981, in Concordia Lutheran Church in Duluth.

Their daugher is Sarah Ruby of Duluth.

Don works for Arrowhead Supply in Duluth. Wendy works for the College of St. Scholastica.

Robert and Irene Male

Robert and Irene Male of Two Harbors celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Robert and the former Irene Svee were married Sept. 20, 1946, in the parsonage of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.

Their children are Daniel and Connie Male of Carlton; Debbie and Berndt Gustofson of Crosby, Minn.; and Peggy Pruden of Duluth. They have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Robert retired from Great Lakes Towing in Duluth. Irene retired from Continental Phone Company and Irresistable Ink, both in Two Harbors.

Jerry and LoraLee Chiaverini

Jerry and LoraLee Chiaverini of Duluth will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with a party and dinner with family and friends at their home. Their annual anniversary trip up the North Shore is also planned.

Jerry and the former LoraLee Bayless were married Sept. 26, 1981, in Duluth.

Their children are Nicole Chiaverini, Kyle Chiaverini and Clair Chiaverini, all of Duluth.

Jerry works at Heritage Window and Door in Superior. LoraLee is a registered nurse at St. Luke's Lakeview Clinic in Duluth.
