Despite snow-lean conditions and a few bare spots on the trails, more than 100 participants bolted from the start of last Saturday's Northwoods Snowshoe Championships held at Lester Park. Seventy-one snowshoers competed in the 10K event, 38 in the half-marathon and 25 in the full race. The Northwoods Annual Sleigh and Cutter Rally was also held on Saturday at Lester Park Golf Course.
