To allow time for elections-related letters to be published prior to the primary a week from today, the News Tribune won't accept letters about candidates after Wednesday. Also, the editorial page staff won't publish elections letters after Sunday.

To allow time for elections-related letters to be published prior to the primary a week from today, the News Tribune won't accept letters about candidates after Wednesday. Also, the editorial page staff won't publish elections letters after Sunday.

As always, letters -- whetherelections-related or on another subject -- are limited to 300 words or fewer and must be exclusive to the News Tribune. Names, addresses and phone numbers must be included with every submission so that contact can be made to verify authenticity. Only names and cities are published. The News Tribune edits letters for space, newspaper style, accuracy and civility. No individual may have a letter to the editor published more than once every 30 days.
