Becky Amys of Poplar and Jeremy Symiczek of Superior were married Sept. 23 in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Superior.

Her parents are Arthur and Susan Amys of Poplar. His parents are John Symiczek and Linda Symiczek, both of Saginaw.

The bride chose her sister, Anna Amys, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Trisha Glaeser, Jodi Thompson, Bonnie Jonasen, Kendra Waldriff and Jennifer Amys. MacKenzie Frogner was flower girl.

The groom chose his brother, Justin Symiczek, as best man. Groomsmen were Peter Falk, Andrew Amys, Bradley Amys, Eric Waldriff and Sean Schuyler. Anthony Amys was ring bearer.

The bride, a 2001 graduate of Northwestern High School in Maple, graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2006 with a registered nurse associate degree. She is a registered nurse at St. Luke's hospital in Duluth.

The groom, a 1996 graduate of AlBrook High School in Saginaw, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in corporate community health. He is a driver for UPS in Duluth.
