A man accused of robbing the Poplar branch of National Bank of Commerce is in custody.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said the suspect was arrested outside of Wisconsin for an unrelated crime. He will be extradited back to Douglas County to be charged.
On Thursday, the man allegedly took a taxi from Duluth to Poplar, robbed the bank, and fled on foot.
