Apples, apples, everywhere. Seriously, help.
The American Indian Community Housing Organization is opening its doors to the public from 3-6 p.m. Saturday to make use of the many apples picked by Gimaajii families on a recent field trip to Bayfield.
There will be a cider press and opportunities to slice apples to dehydrate and freeze, and folks are encouraged to bring their own apples, canning jars and cutting tools to 202 W. Second St. during the event.
For more information, contact Katie Hanson at (218) 722-7225.
