MAHNOMEN, Minn. — One person is dead and six others are injured after a two-vehicle crash in rural Mahnomen County at about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, June 12.

The crash happened on 250th Street, east of County Road 3, when the two vehicles met head-on at the crest of a hill on a gravel road, according to the Mahnomen County Sheriff's Office.

The crash involved four adults and three children, the sheriff's office said. Six were flown to a Fargo hospital and one was taken by ambulance.

The identities of the seven motorists, including the person killed, have not been released.
