In the winter of 2004, Teri Jendusa Nicolai's ex-
husband beat her with a baseball bat, stuffed her in a garbage can and placed the garbage can in a storage locker, where he left her for dead.
Teri survived the attack, which cost her all of her toes to frostbite and resulted in the loss of her unborn child.
Jendusa Nicolai will speak about her experience with the goal of shedding light on domestic abuse from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Superior Conference Center at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College-Superior.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
