About the West Duluth Business Club

The revamped West Duluth Business Club has lunch meetings on the second and last Wednesdays of the month at noon in the Mr. D's Bar & Grill banquet room, 5622 Grand Ave. in Duluth.

The revamped West Duluth Business Club has lunch meetings on the second and last Wednesdays of the month at noon in the Mr. D's Bar & Grill banquet room, 5622 Grand Ave. in Duluth.

It features guest speakers at the first meeting of the month. Upcoming speakers include Curt Walczak of the Northeast Minnesota Small Business Development Center on March 14 and, tentatively, U.S. Rep. Chip Cravaack on April 11. The second meetings of the month are led by the West Duluth Community Development Corp. to inform members of projects and economic development in the community.

Annual membership is $25 for individuals and $100 for businesses, but members of the general public also are welcome to attend. Cost is $10 for a buffet lunch.
