This is the fifth time the Catholic Diocese of Duluth has offered the event, which is held at the College of St. Scholastica. It's put on with the help of the diocese's youth ministries and National Evangelization Team Ministries of St. Paul.

The retreat has grown from 41 students in 2004 to 112 students this week.

Retreat leaders included one current St. Scholastica student, Jacelyn Davidson, and four alumni:

Ben Hadrich, class of 2006, who is a graduate of St. John Vianney Seminary in St. Paul and plans to enter St. Paul Seminary at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul in the fall. He's been involved in D-Week all five years.

Zach Bennett, class of 2006, who is youth minister at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Duluth.

Heather Serena, class of 2007, who works in youth and young adult ministry with the Duluth Diocese.

Annette Merritt, class of 2003, who is a part-time youth minister at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Pike Lake.
