911 service problem fixed in Douglas County

A 911 services outage in Douglas County was resolved late Wednesday night, after the problem persisted for more than five hours.
Officials announced services were restored at 10 p.m. but did not specify what had caused the outage. The county reported services were down just before 5 p.m.
Residents wishing to report emergencies had been asked to call (715) 394-4432 or go to their local fire hall.
