A dead man was found lying on the ground along the train tracks near Duluth's Leif Erickson Park on Tuesday morning.
Duluth police received a report of the body at 9:57 a.m. It was discovered by an employee of the North Shore Scenic Railroad. Police say the man's identity will not be released until his family has been notified.

The Duluth Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating the death, but upon preliminary review, they have no reason to believe foul play was involved, according to a news release.
