A major power outage had much of central and western Duluth without electricity Wednesday morning with Minnesota Power reporting 4,300 customers affected.
As of 8:50 a.m., Minnesota Power was reporting that power had been restored to all customers. That includes Duluth City Hall, which officials said would open to the public at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The cause of the outage was a raven, according to Minnesota Power. The raven tripped the main feeder lines.
The outage appears to have hit about 7:30 a.m., affecting the downtown, Canal Park, Denfeld, Piedmont Heights and Central Hillside neighborhoods.
