CHUM will activate the Gloria Dei warming center Wednesday and Thursday this week as temperatures are expected to below 10 degrees.

The Gloria Dei Center, located at 219 N. Sixth Ave. E., opens at 8 p.m. and closes at 8 a.m. The center encourages guests not to arrive early.

The address operates as both a drop-in center and a warming center, meaning guests can also come and go throughout the night. The CHUM Drop-In Center is open every night.

The Duluth Transit Authority offers free rides to people from 7 p.m. until 9 a.m. to people who say they are going to the warming center.

In Superior, the Ruth House warming center, 632 Grand Ave., is open from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. when the temperature is 40 degrees or colder.
