Northland holiday lighting winners announced

Winners of the third annual Christmas Lighting Challenge, sponsored by the event planners at A Sweet Event, were announced Friday in an awards ceremony at Bentleyville in Duluth.

The contest garnered 1,000 votes and drew 81 home entries and businesses from four communities in what was the largest lighting challenge in recent memory.
