The public is invited to a free screening and discussion of the film “Eating Mercifully” at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1710 E. Superior St. (Enter in back, off Greysolon Rd.) On Wednesday, July 30 there will be a meet and greet at 6:30 p.m., prior to the film which will start at 7 p.m.

The 26-minute movie, created by the Humane Society of the United States, considers a Christian response to “factory farming” - large-scale, industrial animal agriculture.

The discussion will include sharing how faith and beliefs relate to this issue, humane alternatives available locally and practical steps one can take in making one’s diet more humane. Everyone is welcome to attend.
