Republican challenger Stewart Mills reported Tuesday that he had outraised incumbent DFLer Rick Nolan in the campaign cash race for Minnesota’s Eighth Congressional District election.

Mills raised just over $338,000 from April through June, while Nolan reported raising nearly $284,000 over the same period, according to reports the campaigns must file with the Federal Elections Commission.

Nolan still had more cash on hand at the end of June, however, at $577,000, compared to Mills at $429,000.

The Eighth District covers all of Northeastern Minnesota.
