Jordan Hasay, a professional runner and 2020 Olympic hopeful, will be in Duluth to run the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and for a public meet-and-greet at the LightSpeed Lift Movement Center on Friday, June 21, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., according to a news release from Swim Creative. The center is at 500 E. 10th St., the former UDAC building.
Hasay, holder of the second-fastest marathon time by a U.S. woman (2:20:57), will be meeting with visitors, fans and guests at the center for one-on-one conversations and story sharing.
Hasay became a LightSpeed Lift ambassador after successfully recovering from a stress fracture in time for the 2019 Boston Marathon, where she claimed best American finish. LightSpeed Lift manufactures patented body weight support systems that can add on to any treadmill and relieve up to 40 pounds from bones and joints.
