A high-pressure system will continue to move east today, allowing the jetstream to swing over, bringing with it a wave that will cause enough uplift for a 20 percent chance of showers and storms. Winds will be out of the south-southwest at 5-15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph. Highs will reach 68 with partly cloudy skies.

On Thursday, a warm front will push northward, creating showers and storms. We'll see mostly cloudy skies and a 60 percent chance of showers and thunder. About 1.4 inches of rain is possible with this system.

On Friday, we'll be stuck between two systems and have warm, humid air. Lows will be around 57 and highs near 80 with partly cloudy skies and a 30 percent chance of showers and storms. Our next system will get here Saturday from the southwest, bringing a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms.
