Two men were arrested and charged with burglary after two teenage girls locked themselves in a bathroom and called 911, according to a news release issued by the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
The girls, ages 14 and 15, were home babysitting an infant and were in the downstairs portion of the home when they heard someone kick in an upstairs door, according to the release issue by Chief Deputy Gerald Moe. The girls grabbed a phone and locked themselves in a downstairs bathroom to call 911. They told the dispatcher they heard at least two males talking.
The girls remained calm and kept dispatchers updated as officers headed to the house on Olson Road near County Highway P.
Officers arrived within 10 minutes and cleared the house. Footprints in the snow led away from the house, and a responding officer picked up the track on a nearby snowmobile trail and began to follow it.
According to Moe, Deputy Ed Gallagher chased down the suspect, following tracks through the woods for about 45 minutes and keeping officers apprised of his location.

One suspect was taken into custody by Gallagher as they left the woods on County Highway P and was intercepted by another officer. The second suspect was taken into custody a short time later at a nearby residence.
Alexander Rohling, 20, and Austin Clement, 18, both of Poplar, were arrested. Rohling was charged Monday with burglary to a dwelling, boat or motor home. He faces a preliminary hearing on the felony charge April 1.
In addition to a burglary charge, Clement was charged with bail-jumping. At the time of his arrest, he had an outstanding warrant for bail-jumping.
