More than 70 people came to hear Duluth's mayoral and City Council candidates at a forum Sunday night sponsored by Republican House District 7A at Blackwoods on the Lake. Carinda Horton, the event's organizer, said she was pleased with the public and candidate interest in a Republican forum for city offices. Eight mayoral candidates and 11 council candidates took part in the forum.
"It's exciting to see so many candidates willing to listen to conservative viewpoints," Horton said.
