One person was seriously injured when his or her vehicle ran off Interstate 35 during a pursuit with the Minnesota State Patrol early today.
According to the State Patrol, the 1994 Ford Explorer was southbound on I-35 when it drove off the highway and into trees about one mile south of Pine City. The accident happened at 1:33 a.m. The Pine and Chisago county sheriffs' offices assisted the State Patrol with the accident.
The State Patrol is scheduled to release more information on the accident and the person involved later today.
