Switzer, Brady
Dixie Switzer and Nicholas Brady, both of Seffner, Fla., plan to be married Sept. 10 at the Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater, Fla.
Her parents are Michael and Laura Switzer of Duluth. His parents are Andrew and Janet Brady of Wesley Chapel, Fla.
The future bride, a 2002 graduate of Denfeld High School, graduated from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fla., in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in business administration; from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Fla., in 2008 with her juris doctor; and from Stetson University in Deland, Fla., also in 2008, with a master's degree in business administration. She works for Cristal Law Group in Tampa, Fla., as an associate attorney specializing in workers' compensation insurance defense.
The future groom, a 2002 graduate of Saint Peter's Preparatory School in Jersey City, N.J., graduated from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in journalism/media studies and German, and in 2009 from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport with his juris doctor. He is employed as an assistant state attorney for the Office of the State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Labor Day surprise
Nicholas and I met in law school and had been dating for almost three years when we had a handful of friends over for a Labor Day barbecue. He called all of our friends into one room to thank them for coming, and before I knew it, he was on one knee proposing!
