Specht, Christensen
Krista Specht and Nick Christensen, both of Duluth, were married Dec. 31 during an outdoor ceremony on the shore of Lake Superior in Duluth.
Her parents are Robert and Lynette Specht of Duluth. His parents are Cheryl Christensen and Steve and Penny Christensen, all of Duluth.
The bride chose Britta Skoog as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim Hutchinson, Rachael Hagen and Brianne Christensen.
The groom chose Ty Lounsberry, Peter DeSutter, Mike Nynas and Lyle Fox as groomsmen.

The bride, a 1999 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2004 with a master's degree. She is an occupational therapist at Essentia Health Miller Dwan Rehabilitation in Duluth.
The groom, a 1998 graduate of Two Harbors High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2003 with a bachelor's degree. He is a real estate agent at Prodigy Real Estate in Duluth.
By the light of the New Year's moon
We had an outdoor ceremony on the shore of Lake Superior on New Year's Eve with a full moon. It was amazing!
