McMullen, Moen
Danielle McMullen and Eric Moen, both of Duluth, were married Sept. 17 in Leif Erikson Park in Duluth.
Her parents are Kathy and Shawn McMullen of Duluth. His parents are Patty and Dennis Moen of Duluth.
The bride chose Erin Nigon as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Scotti Lux, Wendy Dauer, Nannette Stiller, Jenna Verelius and Leah Oesterreich. Anna Stanley and Elly Roop were flower girls.
The groom chose Sean Martin as best man. Groomsmen were Nate Daniels, Chase Westbrook, Alex Grajnert, Peter Jongewaard and Scott Roop. Eli Roop was ring bearer.

The bride, a 2006 graduate of Lincoln High School in Esko, graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2010 with an associate degree in diagnostic medical sonography. She is a ultrasound technologist at Sanford Health in Jamestown, N.D.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Duluth East High School. He is a laborer at Goodrich in Jamestown.
No back-up plan
We were worried it was going to rain on the day of our wedding. We woke up and it was cloudy skies. it ended up being a great day with crisp fall air next to Lake Superior. The next day it was pouring rain and freezing outside. We dodged a bullet because we didn't have a back-up plan!
