Horsch, Schwartz
Christy Horsch of Hermantown and Brady Schwartz of Duluth plan to be married Sept. 24 in St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Duluth.
Her parents are Mike and Brenda Horsch of Hermantown. His parents are Leigh and Debbie Schwartz of Duluth.
The future bride, a 2006 graduate of Hermantown High School, graduated from Hibbing Community College in 2009 with an associate degree in nursing. She is a nurse manager at Edgewood Vista in Hermantown.
The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Superior in 2006 with an associate degree in heating, ventilation and air conditioning. He is a HVAC service technician for Arrowhead Refrigeration in Duluth.

Our special place
Brady took me on a tour of the H.J. Schwartz, which is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's derik barge that is named after his grandfather. The very last thing he showed me was the top of the crane where we admired the sunset.
After telling me how special this place was to him, he said he wanted to make it a special place for me as well as he got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
