Revisiting past dates

David began the day by waking Kristina up with breakfast, flowers, and hot chocolate, with lit candles all over the kitchen. When asked what we were doing for the day David replied "Revisiting old date experiences."

Next we went to one of our favorite coffee shops and talked for quite some time. Bowling was next on the agenda since it was what we did on our first date (yes, we went bowling at 11:30 a.m.). David's only plan for the rest of the day was to go to a nice dinner spot we enjoy, Basies.

Since it was a nice day we killed some time going for a walk in the park. At the 800 meter mark in Lindenwood Park he asked "do you remember this spot?" I replied with "No." David said, "Well you will now," then he got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage.

We celebrated for the rest of the day with lots of champagne, a nice dinner, and a room at a downtown hotel...a perfect day.
