Lauren is a 9-pound, brown and white domestic shorthair cat who is 5 years old. He was surrendered by a previous owner who could no longer care for him. Lauren is a shy guy, but if you give him lots of head scratches, he'll be your best buddy. He would prefer a quiet and calm home where he can have time to come out of his shell. He's FIV-positive, meaning he'll need to be the only cat in the home, unless the cats are also FIV-positive. Animal Allies, Duluth, 218-722-5341, animalallies.net .
