A Minnesota hospital that you may have heard of was named the best hospital in the U.S. in the annual rankings by U.S. News & World Report .

That would be the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

The magazine published its rankings for the 30th time, and Mayo has been at or near the top of the rankings every time, the clinic’s news service points out.

Mayo was followed in the rankings by Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and the Cleveland Clinic.

The top children’s hospitals were Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
