A new Minnesota seed company is sprouting this spring, touting its products as organic and sustainable. North Circle Seeds, based in Vergas, is preparing for its first year, working with growers in its local area to "adapt seed to the Minnesota growing season," according to an email from the company.
The company's website offers seed packets for $4 each, ranging from Arikara sunflower, Kathy's Red Barn tomatoes, pinky popcorn, watermelon radish and more. There's also a poster that would be a fine addition to any potting shed.
