Duluth Grill and its bibimbap will be featured on Friday's episode of a "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" spinoff, the restaurant announced on Facebook.

With "Triple D Nation," Guy Fieri returns to some of the "most memorable joints" from his spins through the regional favorite spots. The focus, this time, will be on the diner's take on the Korean rice dish that mixes Yker Acres pork, seasoned grass-fed beef, wild rice, pickled vegetables, wild mushrooms and fresh avocado with egg and scallions.

Fieri and Food Network visited the Duluth Grill in 2010, alongside a handful of other local restaurants, including Chester Creek Cafe and Northern Waters Smokehaus in Duluth, Gordy's Hi-Hat in Cloquet and the Anchor Bar in Superior.

During the Duluth Grill visit in 2010, Fieri fawned over the restaurant's banana cream pie, calling it "pretty dynamite." He hung out with owner Tom Hanson while he made grass-fed bison pot roast with gravy ("on point," according to Fieri).

Superior's Shorty's Pizza and Smoked Meat was featured on last week's episode. On the menu: Canadian egg rolls and cheese and garlic crackbread, according to the restaurant's Facebook page.
