Lake Avenue Restaurant and Bar is offering a dinner of upscale Southern cuisine as the kickoff to its specialty dinner season.

It’s at 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at Lake Avenue, 394 S. Lake Avenue. Tickets are $95, and seating is limited. Email or call (218) 722-2355 for reservations.

The six-course dinner includes peach-smoked black sea bass, gumbo and fried rabbit roulade, a “Gone With the Wind” Sazerac and peach cobbler for dessert. They are partnering with Minneapolis’s 4Bells, an award-winning seafood house, and Bourget Imports is bringing in wine pairings from the Rhone region.
