Earth Rider Brewery won a gold medal for its Duluth Coffee Pale Ale at the Great American Beer Festival this past weekend in Denver.
The award was for a coffee beer-style — one of 107 categories at the festival, billed as the biggest commercial beer competition. The winner, made at the Superior-based brewery, is described as a “mildly hopped pale crafted using single-farm sourced beans roasted by the Duluth Coffee Company.”
