With love, from Duluth artists

Dozens of local artists are involved with, which beams art to your favorite human's phone.

Two Duluth art aficionados have found a way to send messages of love to friends and family via surprise text messages featuring local art.

"It's a simple idea, but a way to spread some love in the world and help local artists," said Justin Peck, who joined with Dan Stocke for a project at .

How it works: In exchange for a small fee and a phone number, a person of your choosing will receive a designated amount of colorful, love-themed messages — works created by more than two-dozen artists with local ties.

The roster includes Amber Burns, Matt Osterlund, Naomi Christenson and more.

"We both feel that love works and love can change the world," Peck said. "Spreading love is a way to actually change things."
